Description: Edmonton, Alberta – Yesterdays Auto Gallery will host An Afternoon of Appreciation in collaboration with Valour Place. Taking place at 8707 51 Ave, NW on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 12-6 p.m. Yesterdays Auto Gallery is honoured to work with Valour Place. An Afternoon of Appreciation will offer free admission to veterans and serving members. $5 from all paid admissions will be donated to Valour Place. There will be tons of classic cars to fawn over as well as the opportunity to buy milkshakes, hotdogs, grilled cheese, and more. There will also be service vehicles and memorabilia on display alongside a Valour Place donation table with candy and stickers. Receiving medical treatment can be an incredibly stressful time and Valour Place offers a temporary home away from home for all Canadian Forces members, RCMP, Families of the Fallen, Veterans, and First Responders along with their families who require medical treatment in Edmonton. It is only with the generosity of their supporters that they can provide accommodation, at NO COST. Yesterdays Auto Gallery Foundation, which opened in July 2021, operates as a not-for-profit foundation. Our goal is to provide visitors with a glimpse into the past with over 100+ classic cars ranging from the 1920s to modern times. It is a one-of-a-kind museum in Canada and is the largest collection of rare and classic vehicles that is both open to the public and under one roof in Canada.
